Banca Generali joins the FAI - Italian Environment Fund to protect and enhance the artistic and cultural heritage of our country. Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March, the first private bank of Piazza Affari renews its commitment as sponsor of the FAI Spring Days, the event that every year sees the opening of over a thousand places usually closed to the public in more than 400 cities, involving citizens in the largest square event dedicated to cultural heritage in Italy.
For the sixth consecutive year, the collaboration between Banca Generali and the FAI is reflected in the extraordinary opening of Banca Generali Private's headquarters in Piazza SantAlessandro 4 in Milan. Housed inside Palazzo Pusterla, an architectural jewel of the 14th century, the venue displays "Hana To Yama", the exhibition of Italian-Swedish artist Linda Fregni Nagler, open to all FAI members. Dedicated to Japanese photography of the late nineteenth century, the exhibit itinerary develops around two nuclei of photographs: the hawkers of flowers and the views of Fujiyama, typical subjects that have marked the fortune of the Yokohama School. In the cloister of Palazzo Pusterla, all visitors can find a stand that allows them to join the FAI or, more simply, to support the initiatives of the Italian Environment Fund with donations dedicated to individual restoration projects.
Furthermore, on the occasion of the FAI Spring Days 2019, Banca Generali wants to involve all visitors by continuing along the path of financial education. Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March, the guests of the Piazza S. Alessandro site will receive a free "Understanding Finance", a practical booklet that explains the key concepts of the economic and financial world in a clear and direct way, addressing the issues that more and more often they are dealt with in the news in the newspapers.
"We are proud to continue our journey alongside the FAI by involving hundreds of thousands of Italians in the largest public event dedicated to the protection of Italian heritage - said Andrea Ragaini, Deputy General Manager of Banca Generali, which adds - the proximity to the Italian Environmental Fund is almost natural for those who, like us, work with families every day to help them protect and enhance their savings. We want to contribute to spreading the message of the Spring Days throughout the year and not only in this extraordinary two days ".
