Banca Generali and Reply launch the first edition of the Investment Challenge, the online trading competition, aimed at students of European universities, created by Reply and based on the BG Saxo Trader Go platform.
The challenge will allow participants to deepen their knowledge of the main financial instruments and test their skills through BG Saxo Trader Go, BG Saxo's advanced online trading platform, with the aim of developing a real protection strategy of an initial virtual capital of 1 million euro.
The Investment Challenge is part of the Reply Challenges program, the series of online competitions organized by Reply to promote the culture of coding and stimulate digital innovation in the field of creativity, cybersecurity and - for the first time - finance. The competitions, launched in 2018 and aimed at technology enthusiasts and new generations of talents, represent a reference in the panorama of remote edutainment and have already involved more than 40,000 participants worldwide on the most current issues of digital innovation.
More specifically, the Investment Challenge will develop in three phases. From Wednesday 4 March to Friday 27 March, after registering for the challenge, students will be able to access e-learning content created by Banca Generali, MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business and Reply to deepen their knowledge of financial issues and gain confidence with the BG Saxo Trader Go trading platform. The training involves the investment of a sum of virtual money, in a demo environment, taking into account market trends in real time.
During the online qualification phase, scheduled from Monday 30 March to Thursday 9 April, the balance of the portfolios will be restored and all participants will begin to challenge each other online, following the inputs designed by Reply and adopting the best management strategies for the assets with the aim of protecting initial capital.
The 100 traders who have maximized their portfolio, avoiding specific game penalties, will have the opportunity to access the final phase, scheduled for Friday 24 April, during which the three winners will be selected.
Challenge registrations will be active until Friday 27 March at challenges.reply.com.
