Vittorio Emanuele Terzi
Born in Gravina di Puglia (BA) on 16 August 1954, he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1979. After working at the EEC Environment Directorate in Brussels, in 1980 he was recruited in Citibank for about 5 years dealing with wholesale banking and international project financing. He joined McKinsey & Company in 1985, where he became Partner in 1990 and Director in 1996. In 1988 he managed the opening of the new office in Rome. He was from 2004 to 2011 Managing Partner of the McKinsey & Company Mediterranean Complex. In 2014, he founded Terzi & Partners, a company that advises companies and financial institutions on industrial strategy, M&A, corporate finance and governance. He is independent director of Banca Generali S.p.A. since April 2015, and of Value Italy S.p.A. He is also past President of American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, President of Nev Mobility and Senior Advisor to BC Partners and Coller Capital.
