Giovanni Maria Garegnani

Born in Milan on 26 June 1960.

He graduated in Business Administration from Luigi Bocconi University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, as well as Full Professor of Business Administration at the Libera Università Mediterranea.

He has held numerous appointments with leading listed and unlisted companies as an independent director, member of Boards of Statutory Auditors, and Chairman and/or member of Supervisory Bodies (Organismi di Vigilanza). These include, in particular, his roles as Chairman of the Supervisory Body of EXPO 2015 S.p.A. and member of the Supervisory Body of ENI S.p.A. He currently holds positions as Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors and Chairman of the Supervisory Body of several leading Italian companies, including companies belonging to the TIM Group.

He has been a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Banca Generali since April 2024.
