Paola Carrara

Born in Alzano Lombardo (Bergamo) on 5 August 1976.

She graduated in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Bergamo and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor. She began her professional career as a statutory auditor in 2000, joining the auditing firm KPMG S.p.A., where she progressed through the internal career path up to the role of Senior Manager.

From 2018 to 2022, she served as Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of BFF Bank S.p.A. and, from 2022 to 2024, as a Standing Auditor at Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Milano. She has also held, and continues to hold, administrative and supervisory roles in industrial companies.

She has been a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Banca Generali since April 2024.
