Antonio Cangeri

Born in Rome on 18 June 1966.

He graduated in Law from LUISS University of Rome in 1990 and, in 1995, obtained a Master of Laws (Legum Magister) from the University of Munich.

He is admitted to the Italian Bar.

Since 2012, he has served as Group General Counsel at Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. From 2009 to 2012, he worked as Head of Group Compliance, having joined the Generali Group in 2006 as Head of Legal, Corporate Affairs and Compliance at Generali Investments Italia. Prior to joining Generali, he joined Banca Fideuram in 2000, where he served as Head of the General Secretariat until 2006.

From 1996 to 1999, he worked in the Legal and Corporate Affairs Department of Deutsche Bank.

He served as Secretary to the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. from 2012 to 2014 and held the same role at the Board of Directors of Banca Fideuram until 2006.

He currently holds several positions as Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the Supervisory Board of various companies within the Generali Group, as well as the position of Board Member of a company outside the Generali Group (DVAG – Deutsche Vermögensberatung Aktiengesellschaft).
