Alfredo Maria De Falco
Born in Naples on 17 March 1971, following his degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Naples Federico II and an exchange programme at the University of Warwick, he completed his education with a PhD in Business Economics and Corporate Governance at the Istituto Universitario Navale and Sapienza University of Rome.
Alfredo Maria De Falco has approximately 30 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, gained through senior roles within banking and financial institutions: (i) from 1996 to 2000, he worked at Banca IMI, initially as an Associate in the Corporate Finance Department and subsequently as Vice President in the Equity Transactions Department; (ii) between 2000 and 2003, he served as Managing Director of IPO World S.p.A.; and (iii) from 2003 until early 2023, he held positions of increasing responsibility within the Capitalia Group and subsequently the UniCredit Group, where he, inter alia, served as Head of UniCredit Bank – New York Branch (with responsibility for the Group’s activities in North and Latin America), as Deputy Head of Corporate & Investment Banking, and most recently as Head of Client Solutions, also serving on internal management committees.
Dr De Falco has been a member of bodies with strategic supervisory functions at Camfin S.p.A., Cordusio SIM S.p.A., UniCredit International Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. and the European Institute of Oncology.
He is also a lecturer in Acquisition & Leveraged Finance on the Master in Corporate Finance programme at Bocconi University, where he received the Best Teacher Award.
