BG is the best private bank in Italy according to Financial Times

Banca Generali is the "Best Private Bank in Italy" in 2023. It was decreed, at the end of a long process of selection and evaluation, by the international jury gathered by the Financial Times Group's specialized publications.

The award highlights the quality and uniqueness of the development path in wealth advisory services to families initiated and consolidated by the third Italian private bank, which receives this award for the fifth time in the last 7 years.

A path that has undergone a strong acceleration in recent years also in terms of the quality of work and the inclusive and sustainable environment that the bank has managed to create for all stakeholders despite the challenges and unknowns posed by the market.

"Banca Generali's strength"-in fact, the judges explained in the motivation for the award-"in a highly competitive Italian private banking market, also lies in the key initiatives put in place to serve its client base composed of high net worth individuals." The judges then specifically referred to the personalization of the service, the breadth of the range and the satisfaction of clients in their relationship with the network, as well as specific initiatives, such as one for women bankers or for young talent.

The jury and the award ceremony

The award as "Best Private Bank in Italy 2023" was officially announced at the official ceremony of the Global Private Banking Awards.

The jury - composed of journalists from the group's Financial Times, The Banker and PWM newspapers - recognized the bank's growth path, which in this 2022 has managed to progress in line with the goals of the Strategic Plan by fostering an inclusive and sustainable environment.

Now in its 15th year, the Global Private Banking Awards have established themselves among the most relevant awards in the global private banking industry. Each year, submissions are evaluated by an independent jury of analysts, investors and journalists, which is a key element in the entire selection and evaluation process. These awards gather qualitative and quantitative information from private banking groups-which operate globally in Europe, Asia, North America, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa-in order to award a series of awards for excellence.
