With its typical respect and appreciation for events intended to promote local specialities, Banca Generali sponsored VINO A CORTE, held on 13 May in Castello di Gabiano (Gabiano Monferrato). The event was an exploration of the history behind this 260-hectare site, its relationship with the land, vineyards and the culture of wine. The idea for the event came from the patrician family Cattaneo Adorno, the owners of the castle and the vineyard of Gabiano, who opened their doors for an event that combined hospitality with a good cause. The highlights of the day, organised in the exclusive setting of the castle, included a wine auction with Conte Gelasio D’Aragona as auctioneer, to raise funds for the Rava Foundation, whose aim is to support a children’s hospital in Haiti. The seminar organised by Banca Generali was also a great success: “In Vino Veritas: the Positive Connection Between Passion and Investment” was intended to explore the opportunities and special features of the innovative asset management solution LIFESTYLE SOLUTIONS, focused on exclusive asset classes with attractive returns, like wine.
