Banca Generali has been awarded the Oscar for financial reporting 2017 in the Listed Finance Companies category. The award, which recognises quality, transparency and effectiveness in financial reporting, was bestowed by a jury formed by FERPI (Italian Federation of Public Relations) and Borsa Italiana, which expressed particular appreciation for its financial reports clear, concise language and comprehensive approach, which make the documents easier to understand.
The award ceremony was held on Wednesday, 23 November 2017, at the offices of Borsa Italiana in Milan, and was attended by representatives of the over 100 companies that took part in the initiative.
"We are proud to receive this prestigious award, which recognises our efforts to achieve transparent financial reporting accessible to all of our stakeholders", commented Gian Maria Mossa, Chief Executive Officer of Banca Generali.
