Banca Generali at the forefront in Gender Equality

Banca Generali at the top in the financial world also for gender equality. According to the latest survey conducted by the German Institute of Quality and Finance, entitled "Italy’s Best Employers for Women", in Italy the private bank is part of the group of 51 companies that get full score. In particular, Banca Generali stands out in the financial sector with 100/100 points, the maximum score being placed on the top step of the podium in front of Borsa Italiana and Banca d'Italia.

The Web as a tool for analysis

The first edition of the ranking awards the 200 Best Employers for Women in Italy. The German Institute of Quality and Finance considered over 2,000 of the most important companies, using an innovative method of "web listening". Employees and consumers are increasingly using social media to express their opinions which provide a very precise picture of the working conditions within each individual company.

This is a more in-depth and reliable method than the traditional telephone interview: thanks to its software, the Institute has collected 2.5 million reviews on 45 different topics. Starting from this raw material, AI was used to check each text and understand the tone (Neutral, Positive or Negative).

Then, the data collected were divided into three macro-areas of research: business culture, equal opportunities and career. The first area includes topics such as "smart working", "flexibility", "working atmosphere"; in the second "equal rights for women", "quotas for women", "pay gap" and "opportunities for women's carreers"; finally, in the third "promotion", "job prospects" and "professional path".

In short, for Banca Generali, even the web test certifies the gold medal for gender equality!
