Federica Brignone’s environmental commitment continues in Bormio

World Champion on and off the track. Federica Brignone - testimonial of Banca Generali since 2010 and the first Italian to win the FIS World Cup - arrives in Bormio to clean the ski slopes of the garbage abandoned in winter which, with the melting of snow, are now an obstacle to the development of the natural ecosystem. On 29 June, together with the local ski clubs and the organization "Sciare per la Vita", Federica participated in the collection of various waste and scraps along the Bormio 2000 slope.

Federica, waiting for new Traiettorie Liquide initiatives - the project supported by Banca Generali dedicated to the cleaning of our seas since 2017 - said: "I have always stressed that as a sportswoman I feel real connection with the water and therefore for the seas but there is a lot to do also on the slopes and on the snow. I thank the Bormio ski clubs and Sciare per la Vita for accepting my invitation to clean up a ski slope helping me to convey the message that even here you must not throw waste on the ground but put them in your pocket and use the appropriate containers."

Sports goals alongside environmental goals for our Champion. Through initiatives such as Traiettorie Liquide, Federica demonstrates that she is also a champion of sustainability, actively working to raise public awareness of pollution, to bring new awareness, an invitation to change mentality.
